Over the past few years unique, state-of-the-art buildings have sprung up across the University of Utah campus. Join us as we hear details and get an inside look at the design and construction process of the following. Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour one of their choice.
Lassonde Studios: Completed in August 2016, this state-of-the-art facility merges 400 residential spaces with a 20,000-square-foot creative makerspace. Students can live imaginatively, create new products and initiatives, pursue their passions and launch their futures. Lassonde is in the center of campus and is advancing the University of Utah as a top school for entrepreneurship.

Robert H. and Katharine B. Garff: This building adds 150,000 square feet to the campus of the David Eccles School of Business. Newly opened in Fall 2018, the GARFF Building hosts the school’s MBA, Professional MBA, Executive MBA and MBA Online programs as well as Executive Education. It also houses the Marriner S. Eccles Institute for Economics and Quantitative Analysis, Goff Strategic Leadership Center as well as Business Career Services. The building was completed in only 18 months.

S.J. Quinney College of Law: The S.J. Quinney College of Law is the embodiment of the exceptional and innovative education that is offered within its walls. The building is a LEED platinum building. The designation is awarded to buildings that meet standards of being green efficient in their design. The U’s law school is the first on the west coast designed to earn such a designation.
